The HevRion Brief #003 - A $6.3B Hack. Was That the Dump?
Binance suffered the biggest crypto hack on record, yet BTC’s reaction was relatively muted. Was that the dip before a move higher, or are we signing up for another week of chop? Let’s dive into the charts.
First up, BTC.
Last week, we highlighted $75K as an area to look for longs.
From a VWAP perspective, BTC has deviated below pm-VAL and reclaimed it. That reclaim has now triggered our long setup.
From here, we could push higher from around $77.5K, or revisit $75K, where we’d look for another long opportunity.
For now, the setup is in front of us. When our conditions are met, we take the trade.
ETH tagged the daily FVG and bounced, but without a reclaim of $2.4K, we’re still in chop territory.
We’d like to see more consolidation inside the FVG before considering a long. For now, we’re sitting on our hands. Let ETH figure itself out.
SPX sold off amid AI bubble fears and is now testing newly formed resistance.
We didn’t get the 7,500 sweep we wanted for a long. From here, a reclaim of the 7,600 zone would put a long targeting a new ATH on our radar.
A lot depends on whether the AI bubble scare fades or keeps weighing on the market. For now, we’re watching the reclaim before making a move.
TL;DR
- BTC: The pm-VAL reclaim triggered our long setup. Watching for upside from $77.5K, or another long opportunity around $75K.
- ETH: Tagged the daily FVG and bounced. Still chop below $2.4K. Waiting for more consolidation before considering a long.
- SPX: No 7,500 sweep. A 7,600 reclaim could offer a long toward a new ATH, depending on whether AI bubble fears ease. Take the setups that meet your conditions. Let the rest chop without you.
